Who is Invited?
All young adults, 20’s -30’s, single, married and married with children. Child care will be provided but you must reserve space.
Join us for a break from your busy schedule and grow closer to God on Saturday, February 19, 2011. A Day Retreat specifically for Young Adults throughout the diocese that will focus on our relationships with family, friends, significant others, and God. There will be Mass, Talks, partner sharing, small groups, quiet time, etc. So come spend a day with the Lord Jesus and give a boost to every relationship that means something to you!

Speaker: Roy Petitfils
Roy Petitfils has worked with young people for nearly twenty years in parish, school and diocesan settings. For the last seven years he had devoted much of his time and energy ministering to those who serve the young church. Roy earned his Masters in Counseling and works in a Catholic counseling center with youth, young adults and couples. His award winning internationally syndicated column “Our Young Church” informs, encourages and affirms adults who work with youth. Many of these were compiled in his book “God Wears Running Shoes.” His latest book on the first five years of marriage aims at helping couples prepare for and navigate the pitfalls of Marriage’s crucial early years. He is a regular guest commenter on issues affecting today’s youth on Relevant Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio’s The Catholic Channel. His humor, passion and energy has made him a sought after presenter at conferences, retreats and parish missions in dioceses throughout the US. He
lives with his wife Mindi and their two sons in Lafayette, LA.

What does it cost?
$20, which includes morning refreshments and lunch.
Child care will be provided but you must reserve space.
How do I register?
Step 1: Fill out the Electronic Group/Individual Registration Excel form, save it to your computer and then send via email to jcastillo@fwdioc.org.
