Field Day Recap
The attendees at the YAC Field Day and School Supply Drive that occurred Saturday, August 15, 2009 had a great time and donated lots of well needed school supplies for children in the Forth Worth area. This event had lots of fun activities including tug or war, relay races, potato sack races, and a very inventive game of Hula-Shoes (basically horseshoes mixed with hula-hoops)! Thanks to everyone who participated!
The big box of school supplies collected at the event will be going to Fort Worth ISD who will distribute the items to local children whose families do not have the means to give the children the items necessary for the school year. May God bless these families and those who so graciously donated the items that will help them for this school year.
