Hello everyone!
There are many events coming up in the new couple months, including a few with very close deadlines!
The Fort Worth Young Adult Retreat: Quo Vadis $35 early registration deadline is coming up on February 2nd. Be sure to send in your forms to Shawndra at retreat@fortworthyoungadults.org. After February 2nd, the registration cost goes up to $45. The form can be found at our website.
This month’s Young Adult Council Meeting is on February 12th at 6pm at the Catholic Renewal Center located at 4503 Bridge Street in west Fort Worth. This month, Joe Rodriguez will be speaking to us about team building and working together to create effective teams. We ask that all Council Team Leaders and their Members/Support Team be present. This is very important! Dinner will be provided.
The Service and Justice Team continues to have their monthly service day at the Tarrant County Food Bank on February19th. Please contact Brittany for more information.
Coming in March, we have two major events. First off, Theology on Tap is returning once again on Tuesdays in March. This session’s speakers will be Bishop Vann (March 3), Dr. Ogilvie (March 10), Alice Curran (March 17), and Senior Gabby (March 24). More details are coming soon.
Secondly, it is the time of year again for the annual Co-ed Young Adult Kickball Tournament! This year it will be held on March 28, 2009 at St. Michael’s in Bedford with registration forms due on March 21. Last year we had over 90 young adults participating. Does your non-Catholic friend want to play? Sign them up for all are welcome! Please see the Kick Ball page on our website for more information and the registration forms. You can also contact the coordinators Rachel and Joey. Captains, start gathering your teams!
